The BPAM's 2020 Video Scholarship Contest

OVERVIEW & RULES

A. Awards: The BPAM will award six SMART scholarships for $250 each to six different individuals (totaling $1,500).

B. Deadline for submission: May 1, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. (CST)

C. What to submit: A 45 to 90 second video (videos from a cell phone or iPad gladly accepted) with a bowling theme that:
  - Takes place in a (virtual) bowling center and/or
  - Takes place in a (virtual) bowling pro shop and/or
  - Takes place at a (virtual) bowling tournament/competition and/or
  - Is an autobiography, biography, or interview involving a real or fictional person(s) within the bowling community (bowlers; coaches; TV personalities;       bowling center owners/managers/employees; etc.).

Be sure to be creative! What unusual items from around your home can you use in your video?

D. Who can submit and win: Anyone can submit a video, but only current youth, high school, and collegiate bowlers that presently reside in Minnesota can receive a scholarship prize. If someone other than a current Minnesota youth, high school, and collegiate bowler submits a winning video, they shall pick a Minnesota youth, high school, or collegiate bowler to receive their $250 scholarship prize.

E. Winners Determined By: A panel of three to five judges will give each video submission a score of 1 - 10, with 10 being the best score possible. The videos that make the judges smile the greatest amount will receive the judges' highest rankings. All scores from the judges will be added up to determine a video's total score. The ten videos with the highest total scores will be posted at GoBowlingMinnesota.com. The six videos with the highest scores will each win a $250 SMART scholarship prize.
